to the Pediatric Accident and Emergency Center at MCC, Eti-Osa
In HY 2023, we provided an incubator and CPAP machine to the Maternal and Child Center (MCC) in Eti-Osa, fulfilling their need for critical neonatal equipment. Serving a growing community, the MCC sees an average of 2,500 births annually, making this contribution a significant step toward enhancing neonatal care.
Building on our ongoing relationship with MCC, the Risk Management team in FY 2023 took on a mission to help reduce maternal mortality rates in the Eti-Osa area.

...we embarked on establishing a state-of-the-art Pediatric and Child Emergency Centre within the Maternal & Child Centre, located along Ogombo Road, Ajah. This facility, which has attended to over 250,000 outpatients and facilitated over 10,000 births, is anticipated to double its impact over the coming years
This initiative aligns with our bank's CSR strategy in the health sector, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals aimed at reducing maternal and child mortality. Our goal is to create a haven for mothers and children, ensuring they receive prompt, specialized care and significantly lowering the risks associated with childbirth and early childhood.
