Sign Up Process (Merchant)
  • Merchant duly fills the application form and sent back accompanied with either Tax document or Letter of Incorporation
  • API documentation will be sent to the customer's web developer as part of the integration process.
  • After the integration and successful testing of the payment process on the website, payments by merchant's customer can begin.
  • Merchant is provided with a portal to view transactions as they occur online real-time.
Process Flow (Cardholder)
  • On the Merchant website, customer adds selected items to the shopping cart
  • Customer confirms his/her order the summary page, by a button click, to proceed the payment page
  • Customer selects card type to pay with.
  • Customer enters his card details
  • Upon a successful payment, a success message is displayed while an email notification is forwarded to the customer

The customer must provide the following
  • A sign-off MOU between Bank and Corporate Customer
  • Customization requirement form (Optional).
  • The list of designated users to be given viewing and notification rights on the collection's activities
Process Flow (Payer)
  • Payer walks into any or nearest bank branch, fills a deposit slip and presents at paying counter.
  • Tellers logs on to AccessPAY platform, selects the product
  • Under the product, initiate a payment process for the payer
  • The BSH confirms and authorizer the payment
  • Upon a successful payment, a success message is displayed, an e-receipt is generated and issued to the payer
EbillsPay

EbillsPAY is an account-based, online product that facilitates the bill payments and other remittances from an account. It enables customers make payments in real-time to corporates. It ensures instant credit of payments and receipt of collections on behalf of Billers/Merchant on the platform.

  • Payments can be made to any registered Biller of EbillsPAY service with the assurance of receipt of value in online real-time mode
  • The service leverages the NIP service, as such, there is seamless and straight-through processing from the initiation point to the beneficiary account
  • Other payment services that require the use of cards, EbillsPAY is based on Account numbers of bank customers
  • The service provides a means of notifying Billers of payments made by their customers via SMS or email, in real-time

Sign Up Process (Merchant)
Biller must fill and send back the following documentations
  • An application form
  • A sign-off EbillsPAY Agreement between the Bank and the Biller
  • Customization requirement form (Optional).
  • Webservice interface to validate all forms of captured payment information and also the fields to be returned upon successful authentication (Optional).
  • Provide technical team with web service methods, descriptions, error-code list and other necessary details (Optional).
  • Provide required fields to be returned for notification of successful payments
Process Flow (Cardholder)

In Branch

  • Payer walks into any or nearest bank branch, fills a deposit slip and presents at paying counter.
  • Tellers logs on to EbillsPAY platform, selects the Biller's product
  • Under the product, initiate a payment process for the payer
  • The BSH confirms and authorizer the payment
  • Upon a successful payment, a success message is displayed, an e-receipt is generated and issued to the paye

Internet Banking

  • Payer Logs into his/her bank's internet banking profile
  • Payer selects 'Biller name', under Biller Menu
  • Payer enters the required details for remittance
  • Payer confirms bill payment on summary page and proceed to payment
  • Upon a successful payment, a success message is displayed while an email or SMS notification is forwarded to the Payer's mail box

Local Payments:

  • Transaction Fee of N105 flat (VAT inclusive) bearable by biller or payer

Foreign Payments:

  • Handling charge- 0.5% of transaction amount
  • Swift charge - $15 (per transaction for transfers to other banks and international banks)
SignUp Process
  • Corporate begins registration using PrimusPlus Registration
  • Corporate inserts their account number in the required field and generates a corporate code.
  • Corporate code is sent to the corporate’s registered e-mail address. This code is inputted in the required field and the ‘Register’ button is clicked on.
  • Corporate’s information is displayed on the screen. Corporate is required to confirm the correctness of the same and then proceed.
  • All entries are confirmed accurately and submitted by the corporate.
  • After submission, the corporate is provided with login details.
  • To add users, accounts, and commence transactions, the corporate logs in and uploads a letterheaded instruction through the Admin Panel.
