Email Fraud
Fraudsters use different tactics to rob people of their hard-earned money.
It is important to exercise caution when you receive a customer’s instruction via email.
Here are a few tips to prevent email fraud.
Always examine emails for errors
Do not treat any request without confirmation from the account holder
If you have difficulties contacting the customer by phone, the SIM card may have been swapped
Stay vigilant and ensure you treat all requests in line with the Bank’s policy.
