Excellence for us means that we will surpass ordinary standards and be exceptional in all that we do; we will never lose sight of our commitment to excellence regardless of the situation.
It is however important to note that people give the ultimate shape to excellence. As a brand custodian, you give shape to our quest for excellence, what you do or say, how you act and serve portrays what our commitment to excellence is to our customers.
It is not unusual for you to compare your realities in the Bank to that of similar organisations, for example, believing that the Bank's rules and standards are too stringent and the goals are always increasing. This is because the Bank understands that excellence
standard that should be surpassed.
As a Bank, we remain constructively dissatisfied in our pursuit of excellence.
We set our standards high so that we can exceed expectations and strive for perfection in everything we do.
What we do, we do well.
So as a warrior, take each day as an opportunity to hone your skills and attain excellence. Seek and take genuine feedback from customers as well as your colleagues so you can get better at what you do. Also give constructive feedback to your colleagues so they can be better too, after all, we rise by lifting others.
