We are so excited to announce that the Internal Hackathon 2020 ended on a high note with a Special Dragon's Den held on Wednesday, 26th August, 2020 chaired by Herbert, Roosevelt, and the Executive Directors.
About the Hackathon
A 3-day hackathon championed by Africa Fintech Foundry (AFF) and Innovation Unit with an aim to address 4 key problem statements from different SBUs:
Youth Banking, PBD, BBD and Customer Experience.

There is a growing need especially in this era of our 'new normal' to drive an innovative mind-set and digital culture by seeking new ways to achieve our strategic objectives.

Selection Process
• Over 400 applicants - 8% from subsidiaries; Ghana, Rwanda, Mozambique, Kenya, DR Congo, Cameroon and Zambia
• Selected 100 participants - 20% from subsidiaries; Ghana, Rwanda, Mozambique, Kenya, DR Congo, Cameroon and Zambia
• Employees were chosen irrespective of their team or level
